We are looking for proactive and enthusiastic SVs to help ensure a smooth and successful UbiComp\/ISWC 2022.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As an SV, you will be involved in various support tasks such as helping attendees, assisting speakers, facilitating organizers, providing information or directions, and generally being a point of contact for all conference attendees.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As an acknowledgment of the time and energy put in as an SV, we provide several benefits including (but not limited to) the following:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Free conference registration<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Exclusive SV t-shirt<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Unique opportunities to meet and network with members of the community<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Acting as an SV you are expected to honor several responsibilities :<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> attend the conference in Cambridge or Atlanta in person.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> work for at least 20 hours during the conference<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> show up on time during your allocated tasks<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> be available at the workshop\/conference venue for the entire duration of the <\/span>conference and the SV orientation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Failure to adhere to these responsibilities (attend SV orientation, complete all assigned work hours, etc.), will cause your SV status and benefits will be revoked.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Student volunteers take on a variety of tasks during the conference, some very simple (bringing water to presenters), some more complex (setting up exhibits).
