UbiComp\/ISWC 2025<\/span><\/a> invite proposals for the Tutorials program of the 2025 ACM International Joint Conference on Pervasive and Ubiquitous Computing (UbiComp) and the 2025 International Symposium on Wearable Computers (ISWC). Tutorials may consist of interactive sessions, hands-on training, hackathons, plugfests, demo jams, breakout sessions, or any combination of the above. Tutorials should be of interest to a substantial part of the Ubicomp audience and represent a sufficiently mature area of research or practice.<\/span><\/p>\n All Tutorials will be held, together with Workshops, before the main conference on October 12 and 13, 2025. The main conference takes place on October 14-16, 2025.<\/b><\/p>\n The goal of tutorials is to solicit knowledge transfer, provide\u00a0 opportunities to learn new skills or practices, and disseminate practical knowledge in an interactive, hands-on way. Proposals from industry and open source projects are especially encouraged. Activities that aim to gather a group of researchers for a focused activity, such as hands-on prototyping or joint development of a cross-disciplinary research agenda, should be submitted as workshops (see the call for workshops). Like any other UbiComp\/ISWC 2025 track, tutorials will be in-person only.<\/span><\/p>\n Should you wish to discuss ideas for a tutorial proposal before the submission deadline, feel free to contact the Chairs of the Workshops and Tutorials Program at <\/span>workshops-2025@ubicomp.org<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n The proposal should be prepared as a document of no more than four pages (including any reference) following the 2-column template following the IMWUT\u00a0 <\/span>instructions.<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n The proposal must describe:<\/span><\/p>\n Some guiding questions:<\/span><\/p>\n Upon acceptance, the submitted tutorial proposal is expected to be revised and adapted for inclusion in the Adjunct Proceedings and ACM Digital Library.<\/span><\/p>\n The deadline for submission is April 30, 2025, AoE<\/b><\/span>.
